During another online training day I chose to go more into the how’s and why’s in blogging. I personally want to invest a lot of time to place myself as a leader so that people will follow my lead and of course come running after me with creditcard in hand. So I watched some of the free blogging-trainings and am now teaching you guys who are reading this.
Why Blogging?
These are the main goals of blogging in any type of business and of course also in MLM or Networkmarketing:
- Place yourself in the market as a leader
- We want to generate leads
- Getting members to sign up in your system and duplicate your business
- To get signups to your primary program
What Topics Can I Discuss On My Blog?
- Story telling (DHV=Display Higher Value) You don’t want to be telling people about your daily life but when you can share an insight to improve your business.For example when you tell a story how you got a great insight while you were out on your boat;
- Lessons learned;
- Inspirational / Motivational;
- Product and service review;
- How-to & Tutorials;
- Case Studies;
- Industry News Updates;
- FAQ’s just answer any questions you get from Tweets or FB;
- Essay’s and editorials;
- Think about whether you want to write about politics and religions since this can work against you or work for you. On the one hand you have a larger targetgroup and on the other hand a more specific one, something to think about;
- “Automated emails”: write about a topic or an affiliate program that was sent out by your autoresponder> Write a review about a product and tell people why it is good and why not. This will get you more sales Image may be NSFW.

When and how often do you write a blog?
I personally write one post every day except Sunday’s. Some people advise to write 2 or 3 “normal” posts per day and 1 GREAT post every 1 or 2 weeks.
How to connect to other social media?
Connect to Twitter by using:
- WP Greet Box
- Use Twitterfeed.com to automatically Tweet each of your new blog posts as they are published
Connect to Facebook by using:
- Definately link your blog to Facebook
- Use WP Greet Box plugin to greet visitors from facebook
- Combine Twitterfeed with Ping.fm
Youtube
Link your Youtube account to your Blog
- Embed video in your blog
- Mention a video in your blog and the other way around and get more visitors bothways
- Link from your video to very specific blogentries
What social media links do you want to automate?
- Your blog’s RSS ==> Twitterfeed.com
- Twitterfeed ==> Ping.fm
- Ping.fm ==> Facebook
- Ping.fm ==Twitter
- Ping.fm ==> etc
